"May my prayer be counted as incense before You; The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering" (Psalm of David 141:2).
Incense is a universal instrument of liturgy, purification, meditation and healing, which dates back to the dawn of time. Like their neighbors in Egypt,
Mesopotamia, Canaan, the people of Israel used incense in the worship of their God since 1200 BC, during the reign of Ramses II and the Exodus. The aromatic incense cloud manifests the presence and the glory of the Lord, it is the first sign of His presence when we enter a church.
Characteristics: Resinous, balsamic, woody, warm, amber-like and slightly acrid.
The scents of the shell will take you beyond your pilgrimage, on the road of life.
